Ms. Ronke Azeez

Ms Azeez served as a Special Adviser in the Lagos State Government from 2007-2015. she was integral to various initiatives designed to reform the sector. She is credited with managing and leading major initiatives of the Lagos State Government designed to improve quality and students’ learning outcomes which includes the Lagos Eko Secondary Education Project supported over 500,000 Public Schools Students in 670 Secondary Schools, over 7,000 Teachers and School Administrators. During her tenure, the World Bank rated the Lagos Eko Project excellent for achieving and meeting its objective. She’s also know for Training young women in skills for the construction

Habiba Bashir Buhari

Specialist in Highways Public Private Partnerships (PPP/PFI). She is the Federal Controller of Works (FCT)/Engineer’s Representative who oversees and manage all Federal roads that link the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in total seven (7) road projects including the Abuja-Keffi road which is a counterpart funded. She encourages women and has been a member of many women organisations like International Network for Women Engineers & Scientists (INWES-IND106), Canada and Association of Professional; Women Engineers in Nigeria (APWEN) – Kano Chapter

Ms. Doris Mbadiwe
She is a construction entrepreneur and Tradeswomen activist. Through the foundation she advocates for gender diversity & inclusion in the construction industry.
Founded the first female skills training school for construction
Hosted the first Tradeswomen Career fair in Nigeria to link job seekers to employers of Labour, to showcase the major construction skills to major stakeholders and to promote gender mainstreaming in the industry. Through the foundation over 3000 young women have been impacted positively. She is also a mentor and leadership facilitator in the industry.

Arc. (Mrs.) Olubukunola Atinuke Ejiwunmi FNIA PPNIA
She has made quite a remarkable impact on the NIA, not just as a First Female President of the Nigerian Institute of Architects, but as a very reliable, resourceful and creative person, always willing to take up any assignment to advance the profession, and most especially, offering immense assistance to her colleagues especially mentoring the younger ones. She is an iconic professional of substance in the highly respected Architectural community in Nigeria.

Abimbola Akinajo

Heads Lagos State Metropolitan Transport Management Agency. She has promoted gender inclusion in Transport management policies. A chartered civil engineer with over 30 years post qualification experience, the last 25 of which has been in the design and delivery of major transport infrastructure projects. She has extensive experience in consulting and the rail industry especially in the United Kingdom where she worked for 20 years and delivered many high-profile rail infrastructure projects.
The projects include major London underground Rail bridge replacement projects, the Connect Project – (implementation of updated communications systems on the entire London Underground system), upgrading the Blackfriars station for the Thames Link project, The East London Line project handover, and London Over ground interface project among others.

Hauwa Muhammed Sadique

Hauwa started as a teacher at Airforce Primary School in Kano and scaled up to become an engineer in the engineering department of Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources. She later became the chief engineer in dams and reservoir operations department in Kano.
She’s currently the president, Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN)

Arc. Mrs Funmi Gbemudu
She is the Principal Architect, Rehob Consults Limited. Her designs and Construction are excellent in quality. She is one of the few that upholds BEST PRACTICE when it comes to Design and Construction. For a woman in Construction which is largely a man’s field she has excelled more than a whole lot of men! Built her firm from scratch and is now sought after for excellent work. She also mentors other girls and women in the industry.

Mrs. Ibukun Awosika
Member of the Global independent impact task force (ITF).
Brought transformation into furniture sector in the nation by the Chair Centre Limited and later SOKOA Chair Centre Limited following a venture merger.
A fellow of the African Leadership Initiative and Aspen Global Leadership Network, Ibukun Awosika is a member of the Nigerian Economic Summit. Ibukun became the first woman to be appointed Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria following the resignation of Prince Ajibola Afonja
Ibukun Awosika is member of IESE’s International Advisory Board. She also sits on the board of Digital Jewel Limited and Cadbury Nig Plc.

She is the award winning author of the Blackgold Refinery Business Made Easy and the Modular Solutions (Unpublished) she has over 20 years of professional experience in the Energy , Oil and Gas industry spanning the downstream, Midstream , upstream and future energy.

As an international consultant and trainer, Oladunni has mentored several upcoming businesses with major focus on profitability ensuring the companies made good returns on investment (ROI) within realistic payback period. She has consulted for the public sector at various levels, a member of the Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF) and an Oil and Gas STEM trainer. She is a frequent Keynote speaker at Energy, oil and gas corporate events and designed several industry conferences, seminars, workshops, trainings and inductions program for organizations.

Her passion for the energy sector led her to commission the One Nigerian Child One Solar Lamp, which is aimed at providing children with solar lamp.
Chief Okuribido also commissioned the Solar Green Cart Initiative, which is aimed at empowering Women and Youths with a Solar Green Cart that has multiple MSME applications like retail, barbing salon and phone charging services. She also leads other organisations, notably as the Chairman of Women Green Energy Institute, Chairman of Women in Sustainable Power Africa Network, President of Digital Network for Women Empowerment, and National President of Women in Renewable Energy Association, CEO / Managing Director of Siman Engineering Ltd and the Executive Chairman of SymphoAgro-Tech Company Limited.
She is called Mama Solar and Mama Renewable Energy which comes from her passion about using energy as a tool to transform the lives of women and this came from her quest of using solar from her university days with the use of solar with calculators..
She also advocates agricultural development, and this has made her to partner with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) to provide solar devices to aid agricultural process

Engr. Funmilayo Waheed Adekojo
Entrepreneur and Philanthropist. She is the Managing Director/Chief Executive officer of Funmi Ayinke Nigeria Limited, a leading engineering services company in Nigeria; and Founder of Funmi Ayinke Humanity Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to helping vulnerable children, youths and widows.
Funmi has made a lot of remarkable professional achievements in her field of engineering and project management.
In addition, she has made leaps in grooming young people -she holds a weekly online Talent Hunt programme that attracts more than 30,000 participants. Youths are trained via this platform on the skills and talents needed to attain their various career goals.

Dolapo Fasawe
First female General manager of LASEPA.
She is a public health practitioner who is passionate about healthcare in developing countries.

She played a pivotal role in engaging state governments and nongovernmental organizations towards improved healthcare service delivery, innovations and initiatives across Nigeria.

With more than 16 years’ experience in pioneering new models of providing sustainable, efficient and effective healthy impacting programs, she ensured that gaps seen in various demographics enjoy access to primary health services and specialty programs that overall improve the health status of communities.

She was instrumental in creating a portal for healthcare data collection and analysis which eventually translated into specific programs, interventions and policies in various states in Nigeria.

She founded the Development Support International (DSI), a Non-Governmental Organization that is dedicated to supporting state systems to deliver appropriate health services and to improve capacity of healthcare delivery to citizens across the country.

Lynda Bitrus Elesa
Organised the Clean Renewable and Energy Efficiency competition. Participated in the organisation of the future city competition Supervised the design and construction of engineering infrastructures such the Abuja Multidoor court room, bungalows and duplex’s as well as hydraulic structures such as drainages, culverts and weirs. Supervised land development activities for agricultural purposes across the country such as the design of a mini earth dam, land clearing for cassava and rice farming

Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu
First Lady of Ondo State since 2016, for her work in ICT sector and in the Solar world. She trains girls every year to know how to couple and install solar equipment’s for their homes. She established BEMORE to create opportunities for the girl child such as hundreds of girls that have been trained in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and skill acquisition programmes. She has also expanded her women empowerment in Ondo State by creating a digital portal where widows can register and be accessed. Those who qualified are empowered in various ways.

Mary Uduma
She served as the vice president of Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) before emerging as the 2nd President of the association. She was also re-elected as the 3rd President. She is the chairperson for Nigeria Internet Governance Forum (NIGF). She represented NIGF at the 2019 International Women Day program held Abuja and spoke on the inclusion of women having a say in policies involving cyber space both locally and internationally.

Nnenna Nwakanma
Nnenna advocates for policy and systemic changes that are needed for meaningful internet access, open data, open government, and the open web across Africa, bringing together local and international stakeholders to advance the digital agenda. She works to drive affordable internet access, data rights, digital freedom, and digital responsibilities of stakeholders, sectors, and actors.
Nnenna is a respected technology voice and leader in Africa. Her capacity to network and bridge the gap between the local and the global has made her a voice bearer for women, rural populations, the unconnected, and the civil society across the world.

Engr. Hauwa Yahaya Abubakar
Hauwa is the current Treasurer of Nigeria Computer Society, Abuja chapter and the National Treasurer of Nigerian Women in Information Technology (NIWIIT). She holds an MSC in Electrical Engineering, a BEng Electrical Engineering from Bayero University Kano, a Diploma in Computer Science and is a certified Public-Private Partnership Professional. Hauwa is a member of the Engineering Forum of Nigeria (EFN) UK, Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), Nigerian Women in Information Technology (NIWIIT), Women in Infrastructure Community Africa (WICA) and African Women in Public-Private Partnership Network

Mrs. Nkemdilim Begho is the Managing Director of Future Software Resources Nigeria Ltd, a position she has occupied since 2008.
As Managing Director of the Nigerian-based web-solution development firm, she successfully re-branded the company, thus changing its focus from stand-alone solutions to web-based educational, enterprise, and business solutions. Mrs. Begho is a recognized leader in her field and thus, she is frequently invited to speak at various conferences.

Ms. Shola Shasore is an experienced Procurement Specialist with expertise in Purchasing, Outsourcing, Privatization, Private Finance Initiatives & Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), Business Development & Optimisation, Process Re-engineering, Project & Risk management, and Policy Development within the Public and Private sectors.
Ms. Shasore has held strategic consultancy roles having cross-functional responsibilities with major players including MTN Nigeria, The International Petroleum Exchange, ETF, London Transport Facilities, and SeeBoard Powerlink.
Prior to her appointment as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in Lagos State on February 5, 2021, Ms. Shasore was the Director, Procurement Lagos State Public Procurement Agency where she was a key player in the Agency’s state-wide repositioning and development initiatives leading to process and performance optimization.

Ms. Shasore obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Benin in 1990 and a Master of Business Administration degree in Engineering Management from the City University Business School, London, United Kingdom in 1995. After this, Ms. Shasore obtained a Post Graduate degree in Purchasing and Logistics from the University of North London, United Kingdom in 2001.
She is a member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), United Kingdom.
