2nd CESD’s Colloquium
The Center for Ethics and Sustainable Development (CESD) believes that infrastructure policy, planning and practice geared towards building resilience to climate related hazards and reducing environmental impact is essential for sustainable infrastructure delivery. To this end, CESD presents her 2nd sustainable infrastructure delivery colloquium themed “Sustainable Infrastructure Delivery: Innovation, Policy, Economic Incentives and Practice towards Environmental Sensibility” scheduled to take place as follows:
Date: 27th – 29th March, 2018
Time: 8.30am Daily
Venue: Academy Inn, Agidingbi Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria
The Objective is to build capacity in the areas of adaptive and strengthened resilience to climate related hazards; charting pathway for economic incentives; and integrating initiatives and measures into policy and practice for sustainable infrastructure delivery in Nigeria and South Sahara Africa.

- To co-create framework for efficient resources management – production and consumption- that will birth equitable and income-accelerating growth paths.
- To leverage on the environmental, economic and social development linkages for Water Sustainability – from Wastages to Wealth.
- Contextualizing climate change resiliency and adaptation strategic plan for Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa
- Contextualizing the principles of Green urban infrastructure management that are fundamental for building prosperous cities that are sustainable, resilient and efficient
